Group Tours starting in Golden Gate Park:
Your group will glide through the 1,000+ acre Golden Gate Park on a fully narrated Segway tour. Guests will have a blast gliding through seven beautiful miles of Golden Gate Park’s landscaped trails and roads, visiting hidden sights that include the Lily Pond, Shakespeare Garden and Fern Grotto. The tour explores the east end, including the National Aids Memorial, Music Concourse, Pioneer Grove, and Stow Lake.
Group Tours are from 10 to a maximum of 100 guests. Larger groups may have staggered departure times.
Golden Gate Park Segway Group Tour
10 to 100 guests This Park route only available for our private tour guests. The extended route includes the best of our Golden Gate Park routes and can include the eastern or western (Ocean) parts of the park

Options and Extras
End Tour at Remote Location (Minimum charge of $100)
We offer the option of ending your private segway tour at a remote location for an additional $20 per rider. (Minimum charge of $100.) End location must be accessible by segways and is subject to approval.

After Hours Fee
We offer the option of ending your private segway tour after our regularly scheduled closing time for an additional $50 per half hour after close. This option is subject to approval.
We offer the option of providing bottled water for guests. Bottled water costs $1 per bottle.

We offer the option of providing boxed lunches for guests. Boxed lunch costs may vary.

We offer the option of providing sandwiches for guests. The cost is $10 per sandwich.

Closed on December 25 and January 1st. Occasionally closed or tours rerouted during major holiday or large public events.
Depending on route selected – Large Group tours are 2.5 to 3 hours including training / recap time.
All tours start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. For the safety and complete training of our guest late arrivals will not be allowed to join a tour that has already started training. Please be on time.
Large Group Segway Tours:
- 10 or more guests – $ 105.00 per person
Large Group Scooter Tours:
- 10 or more guests $85.00 each
Price includes guide gratuity and extra staff as needed.
Segways: Ages 12 and up over 100 lbs (45kg) and under 250 lbs.(113 kg) are welcome.
Scooters: Ages 16 and under 290 lbs (131kg) are welcome.
No weight exceptions. No pregnant guests.
Not recommended for some guests over age 70 or with mobility, motor control or recent surgeries.
Under age 18 on tour with parent or guardian.

SCOOTER GUESTS NOTE: On some hills the scooter will require a bit of “kick” to maintain momentum. The electric motors are helpful on the hills but are not strong enough to propel heavier guests up some slopes. Be prepared to kick.
If you have never ridden a bike this may not be the activity for you. Riding a scooter requires side to side balance similar to riding a bike.
Large Group Golden Gate Park Segway and Scooter Tours all depart from the Golden Gate Park facility. Gate Park Location: 82 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive San Francisco, CA 94118
Look for blue and yellow tent in paved area directly behind the large band stage in Music Concourse. Near the Japanese Tea Garden, California Academy of Science and deYoung Museum.
Segway Tours: 30-35 minutes of fun training on how to safely operate the Segway. Adding hills and advanced parts of the route are at the tour guides discretion.
Scooter Tours include a very brief recap/training session on the scooters we use on the tours. Previous bicycle riding experience is highly suggested.
NOTE: If you have never ridden a bike this may not be the activity for you. Riding a scooter requires side to side balance similar to riding a bike.
The equipment recap and skills overview session provides riders with a quick overview of the scooter controls, knowledge, and experience needed to safely operate the Scooters. You will be guided through a low speed ride and an emergency stop to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.
IMPORTANT: Due to time limits we CANNOT provide riders with no previous bike riding experience with full training on riding and balancing on a scooter.
